Greg Jacobson
Co-Founder and President
Gregory Jacobson is a retired law enforcement veteran with more than 29 years of experience in public safety, criminal investigations, and school safety. He is the founder and owner of United Security Solutions.
Greg served with the Chicago Police Department, where he was assigned as both a Detective and Sergeant. Throughout his career, he investigated complex and high-profile cases, including homicides, kidnappings, long-term gang investigations, and sexual assaults. He prepared detailed and comprehensive investigative reports and testified more than 500 times in both federal and state criminal courts.
In 2007, Greg was awarded the prestigious “TOP COP” Award by the National Association of Police Organizations (NAPO) in Washington, D.C., in recognition of his work on a long-term gang investigation.
In addition to his investigative responsibilities, Greg served as a liaison to the United States Secret Service, assisting in the protection of the President of the United States and other high-profile governmental dignitaries. In 2016, he appeared in a nationally televised interview on NBC’s Dateline regarding a homicide investigation.
Greg also served as an Adjunct Professor in the Criminal Justice Department at Loyola University Chicago. During his tenure with the Chicago Police Department, he taught Lead Homicide Investigations at the Chicago Police Academy, instructing both newly appointed and veteran homicide detectives.
